Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-06-10T11:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-06-10T11:12:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S18W92
Active Region Number: 13697
Note Keyword:
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: A CME with a dimpled bulk front (and a much wider fainter shock front) which is very closely following the 2024-06-10T11:00Z CME. This CME is likely associated with the X1.5 class flare from Active Region 3697 that follows the M5.3 class flare. Coronal signatures include minor post-eruptive arcades on west limb and faint minor dimming seen in AIA 193 starting after 2024-06-10T12:30Z.

Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
